Dr. Moses Watson is a native of North Carolina. Born in Laurinburg, he lived there until leaving to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. While an Undergraduate student at UNC-CH, Dr. Watson was active in many social activities and earned an athletic letter in football. Upon the completion of his football career, he was hired by the athletic department as an associate Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as Special Security at the Dean E.Smith Center. Degrees in Biology and Public Health Nutrition were earned in 1987 and 1988 respectively.

   Dr. Watson entered the UNC-CH School of Dentistry in the Fall of 1988 on a Board of Governor's Scholarship. While in Dental School, he was awarded the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, served as President of the Student National Dental Association, elected Senior Class Vice President, and was selected into the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After graduation and successfully completing the NC State Licensing Exam, Dr. Watson returned to his home in Laurinburg to begin practicing General Dentistry in September of 1992. He still practices there today and has a satellite office in Raleigh, North Carolina.   

   While living in Laurinburg, Dr. Watson was very active in the community and social organizations. Activities included Scotland County Jaycees, Scotland County Concerned Citizens for the Homeless, United Way Board, Scotland Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, Wachovia Bank Board, member of Rotary International, member of Scotland County Board of Health, and a life membership in the NAACP.

   Dr. Watson and his wife, Pamela, have three children: Chad, Jacob, and Gabriana. The family currently resides in Cary, North Carolina and Dr. Watson actively serves in his church on the Trustee Board, the Usher Board, and transportation.
